Phase-Field Simulation of Imbibition for the Matrix-Fracture of Tight Oil Reservoirs Considering Temperature Change

چکیده
Injection water temperature is often different from that of the reservoir during injection development in tight reservoir. Temperature change causes fluid properties and oil-water interface properties, which further affects imbibition process. In this paper, a matrix-fracture non-isothermal flow model reservoirs established solved by finite element method based on phase-field method. The ideal inhomogeneous rock structure was used to study influence single factor imbibition. actual temperature. mechanism process studied micro-level. It found enters matrix along with small pores, oil driven into macropores then fractures. changing contact angle, interfacial tension, viscosity ratio. Reducing angle ratio increasing tension are conducive increase usually beneficial occurrence Moreover, core degree lower than structure. distribution particles has significant This provides microscale theoretical support for seeking reasonable velocity, pressure gradient, temperature, well-shutting time field reference formulation parameters.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Simulation Study of CO2-EOR in Tight Oil Reservoirs with Complex Fracture Geometries
The recent development of tight oil reservoirs has led to an increase in oil production in the past several years due to the progress in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing. However, the expected oil recovery factor from these reservoirs is still very low. CO2-based enhanced oil recovery is a suitable solution to improve the recovery. One challenge of the estimation of the recovery is ...

15 صفحه اولImproving the accuracy of fracture modeling in carbonate reservoirs X-field in SW of Iran
Fracture modeling is one of the most important steps in the study of fractured reservoirs. Due to the high cost of imaging logs and their absence in most wells of the study area, it is often attempted to use other available data to detect fractures. This paper attempts to investigate the relationship between the lithology and fractures of rocks. For this purpose, the Image, Neutron, Density, Li...
